Activities
Inveredrie is ideally placed for anyone
that is interested in walking (the recently established Cateran Trail
runs along the western boundary), shooting, fishing, pony trekking,
cycling and Munro bagging*
The Braemar and Blairgowrie Gatherings
take place in early September.
For winter sport enthusiasts the
Glenshee Ski Centre is only a 10 minute drive away. There is
a local 9 hole golf course at the Spittal of Glenshee but there are also
several 18 hole courses within half an hours drive of the farm,
Rosemount and Ballater in particular deserve a visit.
Further afield there is the famous East
Neuk of Fife which boasts among others the famous St Andrews courses.
For those that prefer Scotland's deep
history and like to sightsee, Inveredrie is only a short drive from the
McThomas Gathering place, Balmoral, Braemar, Glamis, Blair castles and
the historic Scone Palace. Perth, which is the home to the
legendary Black Watch Regiment, is only a one hour drive.
